Yesterday was Mike's 32nd birthday. Desi made dinner reservations at Salty's on Alki to celebrate. The view was marvelous and Mike really enjoyed the meal. After dinner we enjoyed a nice walk along the Alki shoreline.
Unfortunately, Desi having a horrible cold added another dimension to the celebration. Desi couldn't taste her meal at all and was having a hard time staying awake, probably due to the cold medicine she had taken earlier.
Regardless, Mike enjoyed his birthday celebration and, even though she was miserable, Desi enjoyed it, too.
